so last night i went to a talk about the human rights abuses in ethiopia, and the guy who put it on also organizes starving for words. he invited us to go see it after the talk... it was so amazing. it was awesome poetry and real hop hop. you would have loved it. so anyways, i go to the clubs and societies meeting on wednesday, and all three of my groups were elected to be on the faccs board. its the boards that gets to decided how much all the otherr groups get in funding. i get to be amnesty'es representitive for it...its too funny...its kind of odd how i get to say how much other groups get when i have no idea how anything works. i got vicki to do a shift of it on tuesday too...she was very excited...she really wants to get involved in things, but for really weird reasons. she doesn't do it cause she enjoys it or wants to make a difference, she just does it so it will look good on her resume... that kind of pisses me off. a girl in my human rights society said that she could get me a volunteering spot in the UN...that would be amazing! i think i'll do it. gpc is having a social justice week... and im the coordinator for one of the days, the human rights day... do you have any idea of what topics i could do? im hoping to get my stickers done by then so i can hand them out for the day. i still haven't been able to find any suitable pictures! its so hard. jasmin went to buy our arcade fire tickets this weekend...hopefully they won't be sold out. i saw another cute guy... he's from the food for sharing group...which totally makes him even hotter! he signed up for social justice week, so hopefully he'll pick my day! i have basically no homework to do this weekend... except for spanish which will take like an hour. aside fromt hat i have a couple meetings to go to, and an email databse to make... so basically this is hopefully going to be a party weekend.
