so i definetly woke up this morning at 8am to go to the pro-choice meeting...but i totally went back to bed. bad i know, but its just too early. so tomorrow, the genocide awareness project got a permit to stand outside of our school with their disgusting images. fuck. theres a postering session tonight, but i have class...and i have class all day tomorrow too. that means the only time i can help out is between 7am and 11:30am...i guess ill actually wake up for this one.
and janice i can totally pander for replies...its working...one person told me that i belong in guantanemo bay for not using paragraphs. as you can see, i now am. i got another reply refering me to some guy i would get along with because we have similiar drinking habbits. i love it!
in women studies class today, we were watching a movie...this women from new zeland was elected into government when she was 22 and has done so much with her life....fucking amazing really...the movie was all about economics, but was otally interesting. like how "house wives" are considered non-productive (even though they usually work more hours than their partners), because they don't create money. they talked about how the exxon (esso) disaster, child prostitution and comapnies that destroy the ozone layer are all good for the econmoy because they produce money and jobs. with the disaster they had to pay people for the clean-up, thus creating jobs, the prostitution creates turism, and lets poor families to make money to buy food, and with the destruction of the ozone layer, well companies that sell sunscreen and the like products will have more business. capitalism is so fucked up. the government is the problem... its them that are the owners of huge corporations and arms dealers and mine owners. why don't people recognize this and vote for people who actually car about things, aside from money. oh so monia mazigh, maher arars wife is seeking for ndp nomination in the federal riding....awesome...i really hope she wins.
